What are scripted events?
- Scripted events are minor objects that can be used indirectly show the player how to play the game.
Scripted events provide a teaching function.
For example, an enemy could be shown touching a red box and then exploding. This will will teach the player that red boxes are explosive.
Such events are a good way of teaching the player, without interrupting the gameplay, or resorting to a training level which many players find to be patronising.
