Every gameplay element is made up of one or more key gameplay techniques*.
This section contains deconstructions of these key gameplay techniques.
The deconstructions draw on the theories of leading game designers and ludology academics.

The puzzles and obstacles of Shrink and Grow draw on these gameplay techniques.
The speficic techniques each puzzle and obstacle uses is highlighted with a yellow symbol.
